In class 2, activity for finding lines of symmetry in different shapes was done. Students named the shapes shown to them and then folded the cut outs to find how many lines of symmetry were there in each shape. Students participated enthusiastically in this activity.
In class 1, students were divided into groups of five and some ice cream sticks were given to them, students formed bundles of 10 sticks and then formed several numbers using 10's bundle as 1 tens and 1 icecream stick as ones. This activity was used to develop the understanding of place value.
